01The concept at a glance

A 3:22 (524w body + 42/42/41w hooks @ 170.0 wpm spoken basis; full variants A/B 199.8s · C 199.4s word-derived, pause-adjusted A/B 202.2s · C 201.8s, donor band 153–207s, ceiling 240s) Yapper (Echo chain — reference-primary, 200s no-presenter prop-demo object lesson) built for "The Mother Who Was Told It Was Normal".

Angle
A full donor recreation (Echo SEED): the 9-beat accidental-discovery spine, with the beat order and the beat word-shares kept 9 for 9.
Promise
The shed she has been told is normal is measurable, and the measurement says otherwise — and the reason is not on her scalp.
Mechanism
Follicle starvation, rooted on the T4 to T3 conversion gap — both PROVEN. Follicles build hair only while active T3 is arriving. When it stops arriving, the follicle stands down.
Hook
Three interchangeable doors, all landing the SAME first BODY line ("She'd tape the screen down before my shower…").
Story shape
The donor's spine, borrowed whole (SEED): 9 beats for 9, with seven of the eight body beats inside 1.51pp of the donor's word-share.
02The avatar
Avatar
"The Mother Who Was Told It Was Normal" — 46 to 58, the Exhausted Warrior avatar at its visible-symptom end. She has been shedding for two years. Two different people have told her everyone loses a hundred hairs a day. She has quietly stopped wearing her hair down. She has never measured any of it, because measuring it would make it real. In her own words: "literally typing this from my bathroom floor after another mental breakdown over wash day. the shed is just unreal. i'm 4 months into minox + spiro" (VOC files, Failed solutions, 2026-07-02).
Awareness
She enters Problem-Aware and is Solution-Aware in the BODY, with the seam at beat 6 — the donor's own shape (the referee call on the R vs W conflict in the donor card). Beats 1 to 5, which is 55% of the runtime, carry no solution language at all, only a phenomenon. She meets a measurement, not a product. For media: cold, broad prospecting is the right home for this asset.
Sophistication Stage
A saturated Stage 4 to 5 thyroid-and-hair market, entered through a measurement instead of a claim. We out-demonstrate rather than out-argue. The donor ad proves the shape works next door (1238484691057182, winner score 73.61, sophistication 4). This is the account's first demonstrated execution of its second PROVEN angle. Echo never declared this field; it is derived from the donor evidence and the scorecard's read of the market.
Audience Belief
"You lose a hundred hairs a day, it's normal" — the belief the whole ad exists to test. The wedge is that a twelve-year-old wrote it on a poster board as a hypothesis and then measured it, so the belief is never argued with. It is checked.
Skepticism
Very high, and pointed at marketers — so we hand her a source with nothing to sell. The measurement comes from a child, and the hard claims about the category are spoken by a quoted pharmacist with 31 years behind a counter, never by the brand. No testimonials, no before-and-after, no invented numbers, no regrowth promise.
03What they want and what hurts
What they want
Dominant Mass Desire
Certainty about her own body — "I can finally see whether this is real." Evidence and vindication, not transformation: the promise shape is measurement plus explanation, which is exactly what holds voltage at 4.0 and not 5.0
Mass Desire
Know whether what she is losing every morning is normal — and if it is not, know what is actually causing it and stop it
What hurts
Mass Pain
Losing hair every single morning, being told it is normal by everyone she asks, and having no way to prove it is not
Sub-pains
Wash-day dread; hiding behaviour (hair never down, drain cleaned before anyone else showers, pillow and car seat checked); the shame of a child noticing before she acted; two years of doctors and topicals that changed nothing; the fear that the window has already closed
04The angle and promise
The shed she has been told is normal is measurable, and the measurement says otherwise — and the reason is not on her scalp. Follicles only build hair while active T3 is arriving; the hair leaving her drain today was decided three months ago
Big Promise
Story Shape
The donor's spine, borrowed whole (SEED): 9 beats for 9, with seven of the eight body beats inside 1.51pp of the donor's word-share. The peak matches — the Inquisition at 22.14% against the donor's 22.62%, a gap of 0.48pp. The close matches too, at 4.20% against 4.23% (0.03pp), and it is the smallest beat in the ad. One deviation, declared: the UMS beat sits at 14.89% against 12.05%, up 2.83pp, which is what restoring the donor's bridge cost. That makes it our second-largest beat where the donor's second-largest is the Reveal. It is inside the SEED tolerance of 10pp sevenfold and it is called out rather than buried; the Reveal beat itself never moved, at 0.38pp.
Sophistication Strategy
A full donor recreation (Echo SEED): the 9-beat accidental-discovery spine, with the beat order and the beat word-shares kept 9 for 9. The donor's cup-of-calcium-versus-cleaner demo becomes a mesh screen over a shower drain, a kitchen scale and a hand-drawn chart. Its 730-day dark-aging window becomes the roughly three-month telogen delay. Its "50 cents a day" price line is DROPPED — this session supplied no price, and we never invent a number.
05The mechanism
Promise Mechanism
Follicle starvation, rooted on the T4 to T3 conversion gap — both PROVEN. Follicles build hair only while active T3 is arriving. When it stops arriving, the follicle stands down. It does not die, it stops. And the hair it stopped building takes about three months to leave the scalp. At the UMS (the product beat): the selenium-zinc pair (selenium flips T4 into T3, zinc lets T3 dock inside the cell), the sublingual route that goes around a gut hypothyroidism has already slowed, and the deliberate absence of iron because iron interferes with levothyroxine absorption. Every active is real and on the label; no dose numbers anywhere.
Mechanism Story Arc
A demonstrated hook (a child, a screen, a scale, thirty days), then the protocol and the control ("more than four times the hundred"), then the category insider reads the chart and asks the wrong-seeming question. The innocent's motive lands next: she had no stake, and her hypothesis was her mother's own claim. Then the peak — the annihilation and the agitation, all in reported speech: biotin disqualified as building material rather than fuel, the 40% permanence clock, the cosmetic-to-survival bridge. Then the mechanism runs as one sustained block (T3 arriving, the follicle standing down, the telogen delay). Then the UMS and the product, handed over by the insider's own handwriting. Then the second chart in April, soft comparative only. Then a 22-word stop. The product name enters at 83.8% of the body's word depth against the donor's 81.4%, and the product BEAT opens at 68.3% of runtime — exact donor parity.
06Hook and loops
Hook
Three interchangeable doors, all landing the SAME first BODY line ("She'd tape the screen down before my shower…"). A is H07, the demonstrated lecture-bait shape — the donor's own, and one of the three named exemplars for it (locked lead, 1238484691057182). B is H01, a symptom mirror: a second-person, four-item conditional inventory (814438051152496, lirae, winner score 81.87, the highest in the pool). C is H03, a time-lapse trial (26907486858952165, resilia, the batch's V3 donor). All three carry the innocent-discoverer provenance inside the hook. That is non-negotiable — without it the donor's whole skepticism defeat collapses. Full text sits in the script body, beats 1A, 1B and 1C.
Loop Strategy
The withheld number is the ad's engine. Hook A opens it — the day the daughter stopped saying the number — and it is never closed with a figure: no measured value is ever legible on screen (the withheld-number law, field 25). It is discharged qualitatively at the Results beat, where the second chart's line is the flattest she has seen since her thirties — a shape, not a number. The second loop is the pharmacist's parking-lot question about what she was taking: it hangs from beat 3 and is paid at beat 7, when what she wrote on the parking stub turns out to be the product. Echo does not declare this field; it is mapped from the script's structure.
07The edge
The unfair advantage
Unfair Advantage
Kindled covers the conversion step the follicle actually depends on — selenium to flip T4 into T3, zinc to let T3 dock inside the cell — in a berry-flavored sublingual liquid that routes around a gut hypothyroidism has already slowed, and it leaves iron out on purpose because iron gets in the way of levothyroxine. Iron is the single most-recommended thing for hair shedding, so its deliberate absence is both a genuine differentiator and a genuine trust signal
The honest admission
Damaging Admission
Carried by structure rather than by a confession beat, exactly like the donor. The ad says plainly what its own artifact cannot do — the chart could prove the number was real, but it could not say why. That line scopes the demonstration's claim on camera, and it is the reason the ad never asserts that the chart proves the product. Echo does not declare this field; the donor's trust-beat function is mapped onto it, and the donor runs no admission beat of its own.
08Production
Speaker
Voice only. There is no presenter, no face and no talking head at any point — a standing order from Zied, and the donor does the same: raw home footage, stock and 3D medical animation under a first-person VO, with nobody on camera. The narrator is a woman, 46 to 58, a first-person mother, anchored on the 2.1 Recovered Patient voice (TESTED-INCONCLUSIVE). The quoted authority is the 3.2 Pharmacist archetype (UNTESTED, female). She exists only as reported speech in the narrator's mouth and appears on camera only as hands at a retail counter. Echo's D09 prop-demo delivery mode maps to a solo dynamic here — there is one speaking part and it is disembodied. Casting note, and it feeds the first production flag: the job is a voice plus four pairs of hands (mother, daughter, pharmacist, doctor), and the daughter's hands and handwriting have to read as genuinely twelve. That is an art-department and casting decision, not something post can fix. Nobody on screen carries a credential, which is how the fake-doctor boundary is held.
Setting / Tone
Real household, real daylight, real mess — one bathroom (the actual window at roughly 6am, cool and slightly under), one kitchen (late-afternoon warm), one fridge. Plus four small inserts: a fluorescent school gym, two feet of retail counter, a parking lot, a clinical desk. No seamless, no styled tabletop, no beauty light, and no product-photography lighting anywhere except the single dropper macro in beat 7. The tone shifts four times, all quietly: charmed at the open, then the register drops the moment the judge turns out to be a pharmacist (beat 3, the ad's first hold), then guilt arrives at the Reveal, where the hypothesis line is the only thing the narrator reads rather than tells, then hard and flat and fast at the Inquisition peak, then warm for the first and only time at the Results beat, softest on the last line. She is not upset and she is not selling. 170.0 wpm, and the beat-to-beat variance is load-bearing.
Editing Style
Three physical layers are the editor's whole vocabulary. THE ARTIFACT — the hand-drawn chart in five states plus the poster board it ends up on; the co-star; on screen in six of nine beats; built ONCE by the art department in a genuine twelve-year-old's hand and photographed as one object that ages (same paper, same pen weights, same ruled grid, same buckle where the tape pulled). THE INSTRUMENT — the taped mesh screen, the kitchen scale, the tare button, the counted control hairs. THE BODY — the 3D follicle animation, and only that; everything else about the body is implied by objects (pillow, car seat, drain). Chart states: CHART-0 blank hand-ruled grid + dates column (beat 2) · CHART-1 nine rows plotted, trace high and climbing (beat 2 exit) · CHART-2 the complete thirty-row October chart, ragged and high, taped to the fridge (beats 1A, 6, 8-left) · CHART-3 CHART-2 mounted on the tri-fold poster board with the green-marker hypothesis across the top and a division ribbon pinned from beat 3 (beats 1C exit, 3, 4) · CHART-4 the April chart, same hand, newer paper, trace flat and low (beat 8-right). CHART-4 is never shown alone and never before beat 8; the two charts are compared only in one frame, on the same fridge, in the same daylight — no split screen, no wipe, no before-and-after title, and no before-and-after of a head anywhere in the ad
Framework
The donor's spine, borrowed whole as a SEED: 9 beats for 9. Seven of the eight body beats sit within 1.51pp of the donor's word-share; the peak is off by 0.48pp, the close by 0.03pp, and the UMS beat is up 2.83pp and declared. Every beat's duration is re-derived from the donor's own duration-shares at our runtime (199.8 over 180, a scale of 1.1098). The density swing is reproduced — 80 to 285 wpm across beats against the donor's 80 to 292 — and is not flattened toward 170. The mechanism block stays sustained rather than metered at beat 6. Product-entry depth beats the donor on words and hits exact parity at 68.3% on duration. The close is the donor's own stop: no urgency stack, no disqualification block, and the donor's price contrast deliberately not imported.
Production Notes
THE THREE FLAGS THAT LEAD THE EDITING BRIEF (verbatim above) travel with this package. THE WITHHELD-NUMBER LAW — the board's hardest rule, and it does two jobs at once. No legible measured value ever appears on screen: not on the scale, not on the chart's Y axis, not on a card. (a) It is the ad's engine — the hook is the withheld number, and a legible readout in the first ten seconds closes the loop and kills a 200-second ad. (b) It is the no-invented-numbers rule — the script contains zero invented numbers, and a burned-in "4.7 g" on a scale is a fabricated measurement claim on screen, exactly the thing we forbid. Execution, every time the scale or the chart is on screen: the LCD settles and we cut, or the clump occludes it, or it sits oblique or soft — digits reading as motion, never as a value. The chart is legible as shape, handwriting and dates; Y-axis numbers absent or below reading size. The one comparison the ad makes out loud (more than four times the hundred) is boarded as a physical ratio: the counted hundred hairs laid in a thin row on the counter beside the drain clump, same frame, same lens, same light — the viewer does the arithmetic with her eyes. The only counting number allowed on screen is Hook C's running day-counter (1 to 30), a count of days, not a measurement. HYBRID production, routed per layer: REAL SHOOT for the entire home and prop spine (drain, screen, scale, chart, fridge, counter, bottle) and the hands-only inserts · a generated 3D follicle animation for the Root Cause and UMS blocks (GPT Image 2 keyframes into Seedance 2.0 image-to-video), with a licensed-medical-stock fallback if the render quality does not clear · practical macro or Marketing Studio for the product dropper · post for every graphic, card and stamp. There is NO avatar-tool presenter layer on this board, by standing order. Hands only, always — a hand, a wrist, a forearm, a back of a head or a shoulder; if a face enters a frame, the frame is wrong. Only one branded object exists in the ad: the Kindled bottle, and it does not appear before beat 7; every competing category item (the biotin end cap, the minoxidil box, the amber prescription bottle) is anonymized by blur, crop or turn — the picture disqualifies a category, never a named competitor. Imagery is never self-nerfed: a clump of shed hair on a kitchen scale pan is the entire premise; it is shot in daylight, in focus, at scale, and it is not prettified, softened, thrown out of focus, graded warm, cropped down or replaced with a symbolic stand-in — this is the first thing a nervous edit will break. Caption-track ruling: a native verbatim VO caption track is permitted as a retention and accessibility layer and is not an OST surface, on two hard conditions — (a) it carries only the exact spoken words, and (b) it is suppressed for the entire first 5 seconds of every hook variant so the qualifying card owns the muted-autoplay window; if production cannot honour (b), it ships without a caption track. Echo delivery markup carried verbatim: three pause tokens (opening the Reveal, mid-Inquisition before the permanence line, and after the follicle stops in Root Cause) — all boarded as tight holds of 0.8s or under, about +0.8s each — plus one quieter token on the final Results sentence, which is voice only and boarded as a picture that does not change. CAPS mean emphasis, never a burn: WEIGHED · DIE · ON PURPOSE. Six emphasis words total; also read four times the hundred, taking and flattest with weight and no theatre. Disfluency: NONE added by design (the donor's disfluency density is ZERO across all 510 spoken words; the N1 register profile records zero tolerance for it) — do not improvise hesitations at the VO session. Receipts stay bare and exact: thirty days, day nine, thirty-one years, forty percent, about three months, October, July, April
09How this sits vs. the winners

Where this angle sits against the winning ads it’s grounded in — what each one proves is working, and the gap our angle takes. Reads, not rules.

elarewatch
Validates ✓ this is the ad we are rebuilding, and it proves the whole load-bearing idea — that a child running a cheap physical test on a household object, filmed plainly, beats any amount of asserted proof. It also proves the shape holds for three straight minutes: a long, few-and-long beat curve with one dense agitation spike and a tiny stop at the end. And it proves the category can be destroyed safely in a quoted insider's mouth rather than the brand's.
White-space its artifact IS the product (the cup dissolving faster than the cleaner), so its demo and its proof are the same object. Ours measures the problem, not the product — one rung lower on proof pressure, which we close by having the insider hand over the source herself instead of the chart doing it. Nobody in this niche is running a measured household artifact at all.
liraewatch
Validates ✓ the highest-scoring ad in the pool opens on a second-person conditional inventory — four everyday behaviours, no claim anywhere — and it works. That is exactly the door our B hook uses, and it confirms that qualifying by behaviour outperforms qualifying by claim in this market. Its hero macro demo also proves an object, not a face, can carry the pattern interrupt.
White-space it runs as a rapid compilation with a struggle-to-liberation contrast, which is a promise shape we cannot make and would not want — no before-and-after anywhere in ours. We take the four-item door and the one-object macro grammar and leave the montage behind; a sustained single-household demo is territory it does not occupy.
resiliawatch
Validates ✓ a stated, dated trial up front — subject, protocol, timeframe, withheld result — still stops the right person, which is our C hook exactly. It also validates the pacing rule we lean on hardest: fast on the hook, then deliberately slow on the animation so the mechanism has room to land.
White-space it pays off its trial with a week-by-week benefit ladder and closes on manufacturing scarcity. We do neither — our close is the smallest beat in the ad and carries no scarcity at all, and our trial's payoff is a shape on a chart rather than a schedule of promises. The withheld number is ours to keep; it spends its number early.
shopeverlywatch
“How to take Pumpkin Seed Oil From Urologist…”
Validates ✓ the top hair winner in the library is a how-to framed through a named specialist — proof that in hair, third-party authority sells the mechanism better than the brand does. That is the same instinct our pharmacist beat runs on. It also confirms that hair buyers will sit through an ingredient-level explanation if someone credible is doing the explaining.
White-space it is a single-ingredient how-to aimed at a blocking mechanism. Ours is a starvation mechanism — the follicle is not blocked, it is unfunded — and it arrives after a measurement rather than instead of one. Its authority is on camera and credentialed; ours is quoted, faceless and therefore unattackable.
lymphoriawatch
“Here's what nobody is telling you about Levothyroxine!!…”
Validates ✓ the top thyroid winner opens on the exact medication our avatar is already on and promises the thing nobody told her — proof that the levothyroxine-adjacent gap is live and profitable, which is precisely where our iron omission sits. It also validates leading with a grievance she already holds rather than a benefit she has to be sold.
White-space it is a talking-head levothyroxine reveal, all assertion, no artifact. Ours never argues about her prescription at all — it measures something in her own bathroom, then explains it, and the only prescription statement we make is a factual one about why iron is deliberately left out. The gap it leaves open is proof the viewer can verify herself.

11Independent review
An independent strategist QA pass. These are flags for you to resolve — they do NOT change your strategy (your fields are untouched).
Skepticism vs Promise Mechanism: Skepticism claims every hard claim sits in a quoted third party's mouth, but the whole mechanism block (T3 arrival, the follicle standing down, the three-month delay) and the entire UMS (selenium, zinc, the sublingual route, the iron omission) are spoken by the narrator, not the pharmacist. Decide whether that is intended — if the third-party shield is load-bearing for this avatar, the mechanism block is currently unshielded.
Big Promise vs Loop Strategy vs Production Notes: the promise is that the measurement says the shed is not normal, but no measured value is ever legible on screen and the only stated comparison is spoken ('more than four times the hundred'). Confirm a viewer who mutes the ad can still receive the promise, or the promise is carried entirely by audio.
Avatar vs Unfair Advantage: the avatar is defined by shedding and by failed topicals (minoxidil, spironolactone) with no mention of thyroid medication, yet the stated differentiator is that iron is left out because it interferes with levothyroxine. That advantage only lands for a medicated sub-segment. Check whether the avatar definition should name the levothyroxine cohort, or the differentiator should be re-weighted for the broader shedder.
Sophistication Stage vs Mechanism Story Arc: a Stage 4-5 market is declared, but the mechanism does not arrive until roughly two thirds of the runtime and the product beat opens at 68 percent. That is deliberate donor parity, but a Stage 4-5 buyer normally needs a differentiating mechanism sooner. Confirm the measurement alone is doing enough differentiating work through the first five beats to hold a saturated-market viewer.
12Voice check
2.1 The "Recovered Patient" Voice, D09 delivered as a disembodied first-person mother at the donor's 170.0 wpm, with the donor's own register — calm, authoritative, slightly awe-struck; the everyman who stumbled onto a miracle; fast but highly articulate. Donor fingerprint transferred whole: category annihilation in a third party's mouth ("Thirty-one years filling minoxidil scripts and stocking biotin on the end cap, she said, and not one of those bottles does what your daughter just WEIGHED"), the enemy pivot as one question and one damning answer, the measured result stated bare with no softener, and the after-state as a soft comparative ("the flattest I've seen since my thirties"), never a number. Zero company-"we" anywhere — the narrator is a customer and the product is spoken about in the third person throughout ("There's no iron in it," "It's called Kindled"). Support verbs are hard: follicles build, T3 arrives, the follicle stands down, it stops, selenium flips, zinc lets, iron gets in the way — zero "supports/helps/may." Per-beat pace variance is load-bearing and must not be flattened: ~285 wpm at the Inquisition peak (a rush, almost without breath, reported speech tumbling out), ~140 wpm at the held Reveal, ~127 wpm over the animation, ~80 wpm at the close (four or five words to a breath — the donor's own close pace to the whole number). Out-loud test passed (locked body).
13Script
Setup
Solo × prop-demo (VO-only). NO PRESENTER, NO FACE, NO PIECE TO CAMERA, anywhere, at any point — every human is hands, a wrist, a forearm, a shoulder or a back of a head. 9:16 vertical, shot 4K wide for a 9:16 crop so post can reframe without amputating a hand or a chart edge. ONE real household (bathroom at ~6am window light, kitchen late-afternoon, one fridge) plus four small inserts: a fluorescent school gym, two feet of retail counter, a parking lot, a clinical desk. The co-star is a hand-drawn chart — one physical object in five states, on screen in six of nine beats — and the instrument is a kitchen scale with a taped mesh screen. Handheld with real micro-drift on the household spine; locked tripod for the scale macros only. Practical daylight only; no fill, no beauty light, no warm grade on the hair. Cuts every 1.5–2.5s, slowing only at beat 3 and beat 6, fastest at beat 5. No legible measured value ever appears on screen (the withheld-number law, field 25). 170.0 wpm spoken basis; [pause] ×3 are tight ≤0.8s holds and [quieter] ×1 is voice only; CAPS = emphasis, not shouting and never a burn. Hook variants 1A/1B/1C are interchangeable and all three are boarded 0:00–0:17 — the hook beat's duration is the donor's own duration-share, so hook C's one-word deficit sits inside the beat as breathing room and the body boundaries are IDENTICAL on all three cuts; there is no per-variant shift anywhere. All three exit on the IDENTICAL seam frame — a locked daylight macro of the taped mesh screen sitting flat on the bathroom counter beside the scale, both empty, tare light on — so any variant cuts straight onto beat 2 with no re-introduction
0:00–0:17HOOK A (variant) — H07 Lecture Bait, DEMONSTRATED form, the donor's own shape, locked lead

My daughter weighed the hair from my shower drain every morning for thirty days. She's twelve. It started as a science fair project. A mesh screen, a kitchen scale, same time each morning. By day nine she stopped telling me the number.

> On-screen text: ONE burned-in card, two lines, set in two beats at phone size — "SHE WEIGHED MY SHOWER-DRAIN HAIR." / "DAY 9 SHE STOPPED SAYING THE NUMBER." SYMPTOM-qualified: the card itself names the drain clump, so it qualifies sound-off instead of leasing that job to the VO, and the dread clause survives intact. Visual: s1 — a child's hands peeling a taped mesh screen off a shower drain, a dark clump sitting in it. s2 — the clump going onto a kitchen scale pan, digits settling and the cut landing before any value reads. s3 — the fridge with CHART-2 taped up, a column of dates in a twelve-year-old's handwriting. Raw simulated-UGC home footage, no faces. Cuts at 1.5–2.5s. Mute test: passes by construction — the clump on the pan and the child's handwriting read with no audio, and the card carries its own qualification; donor parity, whose mason jar vs green cleaner in a toilet bowl is rated "passes exceptionally." → handoff: "By day nine she stopped telling me the number." lands the Experiment beat.

0:00–0:17HOOK B (variant) — H01 Symptom Mirror, behavioural qualification

If you've stopped wearing it down, if you clean the drain before anyone showers, if you check the pillow, if you check the car seat. My twelve-year-old put a mesh screen over my drain and weighed what came out for thirty days.

> On-screen text: four hard cuts, one per conditional, each with the object word ALONE on screen — "DOWN" / "DRAIN" / "PILLOW" / "CAR SEAT." SYMPTOM-qualified; one word per cut, no sentence, no headline stack. Visual: a hair tie on a wrist and hair going up; a hand wiping a drain before anyone else is awake; a pillow lifted; a headrest in daylight. Then the mesh screen. No face in any frame. Mute test: the four objects in sequence are self-explanatory to the cohort and meaningless to anyone else — which is the qualification doing the arresting. → handoff: "My twelve-year-old put a mesh screen over my drain and weighed what came out for thirty days." lands the Experiment beat.

0:00–0:17HOOK C (variant) — H03 Time-Lapse Trial, the trial stated up front

Here's what your shed weighs if you catch thirty days of it in a screen and put it on a kitchen scale. My twelve-year-old ran that experiment on me for a science fair. She stopped reading the number on day nine.

> On-screen text: ONE burned-in card — "WHAT YOUR SHED WEIGHS IN THIRTY DAYS." — then a running day-counter in the corner (1 to 30, the only counting number permitted anywhere on this board, and a count of days rather than a measurement). SYMPTOM-qualified via the cohort's own noun: shed is her word verbatim (`voc.md`: "the shed is just unreal") and the spoken line's own word; to anyone outside the avatar the card is nonsense and she scrolls. Visual: a 30-frame time-lapse of the same scale pan, same angle, same morning light, the clump changing size day to day; then CHART-3 on the poster board. Mute test: the repeating pan with a changing mass is a time-lapse that needs no words — the donor's own visual grammar — and the card captions it in second person, withholding the weight the counter is climbing toward. → handoff: "She stopped reading the number on day nine." lands the Experiment beat.

0:17–0:33EXPERIMENT & SHOCKING RESULT — the protocol and the control

She'd tape the screen down before my shower, lift it after, and tare the scale to zero. Then she counted out a hundred hairs off the bathroom counter and weighed those too, so she had something to compare it against. Most mornings, the drain weighed more than four times the hundred.

> On-screen text: none. Visual: the protocol shot like a kid's lab notebook — tape, screen, tare button, the zero. Locked tripod on every scale macro so the instrument reads as measurement rather than vibe. Then the counted control hairs laid in a thin row on the counter, and — the beat's one non-negotiable frame — the row of a hundred beside the drain clump in the SAME frame, same lens, same light, so the "more than four times" comparison is a physical ratio the viewer performs with her eyes and nothing is printed and nothing is invented. CHART-0 (blank hand-ruled grid, dates column) and CHART-1 (nine rows plotted, trace high and climbing, a ballpoint smudge where a hand rested) both appear here; the beat exits on CHART-1. Scale-tare clicks and paper SFX carry the whole beat. Fast cuts.

0:33–0:53AUTHORITY VALIDATION & TWIST — the category insider walks in

She won her division. But that's not where this stopped being a school project. One of the judges was a pharmacist. Thirty-one years behind a retail counter. She stood in front of that chart for a long time, then followed me out to the parking lot and asked me one question. Not what I was using on my hair. What I was taking.

> On-screen text: none. Visual: a school gym, fluorescent and unflattering, ribbons, other kids' boards — CHART-3 now mounted on the tri-fold with the division ribbon pinned to the corner. Then hands only: a retail counter, a pill bottle being set down, a lanyard. The pharmacist is never on camera as a face. Then the parking lot. This is the ad's first hold — cuts slow here for the first time, the music holds, and the beat is given room to land. The pharmacist's sentences are given their own distinct visual world (counter, end cap, script pull) so the viewer never confuses who is speaking, which is the work the absent quotation marks are not doing.

0:53–1:23THE REVEAL & ACCIDENTAL SOURCE — the innocent had no stake

[pause] Here's what I didn't say in that parking lot. She didn't pick my drain because she was worried about me. She picked it because it was the only thing in the house that produced a measurable amount of anything every single day. Her hypothesis was written on the poster board in green marker. My mom says a hundred hairs a day is normal. I want to know if that's true.

> On-screen text: the green-marker hypothesis line — "My mom says a hundred hairs a day is normal. I want to know if that's true." — diegetic, photographed handwriting on the poster board, NOT a burn, read on screen as it is spoken. BELIEF species: it is the belief the whole ad exists to test, stated as a child's hypothesis, and it is the ad's central artifact rather than an attention card. Visual: the `[pause]` opens the beat as a hold on the poster board. The green-marker line fills frame — the ad's longest hold. Then the mother's POV of the bathroom at 6am. Slowest cutting in the first half. CHART-3 throughout.

1:23–1:48THE PHARMACIST'S INQUISITION & PROBLEM AGITATION — the dominant peak

She didn't make small talk. Thirty-one years filling minoxidil scripts and stocking biotin on the end cap, she said, and not one of those bottles does what your daughter just WEIGHED. So I asked her. Does biotin put fuel into a follicle? She said no. It gives the follicle better building material. It doesn't turn the lights on. [pause] Then she told me the part nobody says out loud. Once you lose forty percent of your follicles, they don't grow back. And the drain is only where you're counting it. It's on the pillow. It's on the car seat. If your follicles are starving, what do you think is happening to your heart muscle? Your brain cells?

> On-screen text: none. Visual: the fastest, hardest sequence in the ad and the fastest cutting on the board — a pharmacy end cap of biotin bottles, a minoxidil box, a hand pulling a script, all category items anonymized by blur, crop or turn. Then hard cuts to the pillow, the car seat, the drain again. The `[pause]` sits mid-beat before the permanence line and is the one cut in this beat allowed to breathe. On the last two questions, cut to a chest and a skull in 3D wireframe for a half-second each and get out. Music drops out entirely under "they don't grow back," then returns loud — the single loudest editorial gesture in the ad. Delivered at ~285 wpm: a rush, spoken almost without breath, reported speech tumbling out. The permanence line lands on a hard cut at full aggression and is not cushioned.

1:48–2:17ROOT CAUSE & UMPb — the sustained mechanism block

The chart could tell me the number was real. It could not tell me why. Follicles only build hair while active T3 is arriving. When T3 stops arriving, the follicle stands down. It doesn't DIE. It stops. [pause] And the hair it stopped building doesn't leave your head for about three months. What she weighed in October was decided back in July.

> On-screen text: none. Visual: the ad's only 3D animation block and its slowest cutting — the follicle bulb, the blood supply, T3 arriving, then not arriving, then the bulb standing down and going quiet. The `[pause]` after "It stops" is the moment the follicle goes quiet on screen. Heartbeat and low whoosh under it. On the last sentence a calendar wipes back three months and CHART-2 reappears over it. This is the quality-critical asset (→ §06 flag ③): ~29s of continuous 3D follicle animation, higgsfield-generate (GPT Image 2 keyframes → Seedance 2.0 image-to-video), with a licensed-medical-stock fallback if the render does not clear. Delivered at ~127 wpm over the animation — this is the one place the cutting is allowed to slow to a crawl so the brain can process the mechanism.

2:17–2:41UMS & PRODUCT INTRO — the bridge, then the product, late

Your thyroid makes T4, and T4 is storage. It does nothing until two minerals turn it into T3. Selenium flips that switch. Zinc lets the T3 dock inside the cell. What she wrote on the back of my parking stub comes as a berry-flavored liquid you put under your tongue, so it goes around a gut hypothyroidism already slowed down. There's no iron in it ON PURPOSE, because iron gets in the way of levothyroxine. It's called Kindled.

> On-screen text: the wordmark "Kindled" on screen on the final sentence ONLY — the product's own label plus one wordmark, declared as a naming element, not an attention card. It makes no claim and is not an attention surface. Visual: animation continues — T4 stacked and inert, the selenium step, then T3 docking inside the cell and the cell lighting. On "what she wrote," cut OUT of the animation for one beat to a creased parking stub held in a woman's hand, a stranger's handwriting across the back of it — the third handwriting artifact in the ad after the green marker and the fridge dates, and the visual proof that this was scribbled, not sold. It is also what closes the acquisition loop the pharmacist opened in the parking lot. Referent note for the VO session: "she" here is the PHARMACIST, not the daughter — the last "she" the ad spoke is hers, and the parking stub re-lights the parking-lot scene she is the only person in; deliver it as a callback, with the small warmth of a thing kept. The daughter does not appear in this beat. Then the first product footage in the ad: the dropper, the amber liquid, under the tongue — the only product-photography lighting on the entire board. ~192 wpm; the bridge sentence is the beat's only long one and is taken at the same clip as the mechanism lines around it, never slowed into a reveal.

2:41–3:03RESULTS & PROOF MOMENTUM — soft comparative only

That was last October. She ran the whole thing again in April. Same screen, same scale, same time each morning. The line on her second chart is the flattest I've seen since my thirties. My doctor looked at both charts and wrote down what I was taking. [quieter] She's thirteen now, and she still thinks the experiment was about whether her mother was right.

> On-screen text: none. Visual: CHART-4 (April, same hand, same grid, visibly newer paper, the trace flat and low) taped up beside CHART-2 on the same fridge, in the same daylight — the two slopes side by side, no numbers legible, and no before/after of a head anywhere (`brand_bible §9.2`, absolute). The shape difference IS the entire claim and it is made without a single number. No split screen, no wipe, no before-and-after title. Then a doctor's hand writing on a pad at a clinical desk. Last shot: the girl at the fridge, from behind, adding a date. Score swells and then thins out. `[quieter]` is voice only — the picture does not change under it.

3:03–3:20THE OFFER & CALL TO ACTION — the smallest beat in the ad

Give Kindled thirty days, and if the drain still fills every morning, your money comes back. Go see if it's in stock.

> On-screen text: NONE burned in. No guarantee badge, no discount flash, no countdown, no urgency stack, no disqualification block, no URL burn, no logo animation. Every one of those is an offer element rather than a qualifying species, so none is boarded — and it is also exactly what the script asks for: the ad simply stops, per donor. The end card is the wordmark on the product's own label plus one static plate, a naming element under the same rule as the UMS beat. Visual: the bottle on the bathroom counter next to the scale — the two objects in one frame for the first time in the ad, and the reason the close's "it" has a picture and not only an antecedent. The bottle is on screen continuously through the whole close. Delivered at ~80 wpm, deliberately slow, four or five words to a breath — the donor's own close pace to the whole number. Land steady and certain, then stop. Destination: PDP `https://trykindled.com/today`.

Word count: 524 (body only, wordcount.py, markup-stripped, SPOKEN basis)

"literally typing this from my bathroom floor after another mental breakdown over wash day. the shed is just unreal. i'm 4 months into minox + spiro" — Reddit, Failed solutions (VOC poller 2026-07-02). Echoed in Hook C, which takes the cohort's own noun ("your shed") as its qualifier — verbatim, on the card and in the line — and in the Inquisition beat, whose minoxidil line names the exact failed solution this woman is four months into.
"So I have been suffering extreme hair shedding for just over 5 months now. My dr doesn't seem concerned. Blamed it on post partum" — Reddit, Villains (2026-07-13). Echoed in the Reveal beat: the poster-board hypothesis ("My mom says a hundred hairs a day is normal. I want to know if that's true") is that dismissal restated as a testable claim, and the chart is the answer to it.
"I noticed a few months ago that I have so much scalp showing and my hair seems so thin you can see right through especially in direct sunlight." — Reddit, Buying triggers (2026-07-13). Echoed in Hook B's first conditional ("if you've stopped wearing it down") — the hiding behaviour that follows directly from this, and the reason the hook qualifies with no claim anywhere in the line.
"Hair falling out in handfuls." — recurring across r/Hypothyroidism,. Echoed in the Experiment beat's comparison ("more than four times the hundred") — the ad's job is to convert "handfuls" into something she can check against her own morning, which is why the comparison is boarded as a physical ratio rather than a printed one.
"My skin looks like it's alligator skin, my nails are thin and have ridges for days, my hair is thinning, I'm losing my eyebrow hairs too." —. Echoed in the Inquisition beat's fear-bridge ("if your follicles are starving, what do you think is happening to your heart muscle?") — the corpus's own instinct that the hair is not the whole story. The eyebrow-tail corroborator was deliberately NOT deployed: it is KD_C0083's territory.

Voltage parity: donor floor 4.0/5 — MET, and the review adjudicated it at-or-above floor on re-derivation. Evidence: "Thirty-one years filling minoxidil scripts and stocking biotin on the end cap, she said, and not one of those bottles does what your daughter just WEIGHED" ≈ donor "I spent 34 years filling blood pressure prescriptions. Not one of them does what your daughter just filmed in a plastic cup" — same carrier, same grammar, same refusal to let the brand say it; "Does biotin put fuel into a follicle? She said no. It gives the follicle better building material. It doesn't turn the lights on." ≈ the donor's one-question / one-damning-answer enemy pivot; "Once you lose forty percent of your follicles, they don't grow back" stated bare, no softener. Ceiling respected: no terminal consequence anywhere — the donor has none and manufacturing one is off-donor; the 40%-permanence clock and the cosmetic→survival fear-bridge are AS-IS elements of our own control placed inside the donor's own agitation beat, which is donor-faithful placement rather than a smuggled terminal. No fix at any version touched a voltage carrier — the Inquisition beat, the hooks, the Reveal and the Root Cause block are byte-identical to v1, and the v1.1 bridge fix adds pressure by putting the recommendation in the converted insider's own hand ( flag ②).
Hedge scan (NH6 six species): 0 found / 0 remaining, review-confirmed. Anti-promise close 0 — the close is 22 words of pure sell, no "results vary," no softening tail, and removing the unclaimable clause at v1.1 imported no hedge in its place. Disclaimer litany 0 — the one prescription-adjacent line ("iron gets in the way of levothyroxine") is a positioning claim in the brand's favour (product_facts), not a caveat, and it sits mid-script. Timeline blur 0 — every temporal marker is exact (thirty days, day nine, thirty-one years, forty percent, about three months, October, July, April); eventually / over time / for some people / typically appear nowhere. Partial-failure concession 0. Support-verb downgrade 0 — "the follicle stands down" survives verbatim and was never softened toward "may help support healthy hair." Enemy exoneration 0 — biotin and minoxidil are disqualified in a third party's mouth and left disqualified, with no escalation into conspiracy.
Label-truth (H3b, review-passed line by line): selenium product_facts (Selenium Glycinate) · zinc (Zinc Glycinate Chelate) · no iron, stated as a deliberate absence · berry-flavored sublingual liquid under the tongue + · the 30-day money-back guarantee , the one standing offer fact, stated bare and welded to a named outcome (see below). T4 / T3 / follicles / the telogen delay are endogenous physiology and a dramatized-but-real mechanism chain (mech, ) — constructed craft around real actives, not ingredient claims. minoxidil / biotin / levothyroxine are named as third-party category items in reported dialogue, never as Kindled ingredients. Zero donor compounds appear (no S-allylcysteine, no aged garlic, no 730-day process, no arteries, no calcium). Zero invented numbers appear — no price, no discount, no stock count, no customer count, no regrowth percentage, no lab value; the two numeric receipts (forty percent permanence, ~three-month telogen delay) are both file-sourced.
Guarantee discipline (product_facts, owner rule 2026-08-01) — HELD, and it binds the editor brief as well as the copy. The only claimable guarantee fact is the 30-day money-back guarantee, welded to a NAMED outcome, and that is exactly what the close says: "Give Kindled thirty days, and if the drain still fills every morning, your money comes back." Term + condition + named outcome + remedy in one sentence, with the outcome being this ad's own measured artifact rather than a generic "if you don't feel a difference." Nothing granular is ever added, on screen or spoken — the sentence above is the complete and only permitted statement of the guarantee, and no mechanic, condition or process detail of any kind may be introduced anywhere in this package, the brief or the edit. No guarantee badge is burned on the close either: it is an offer element, not a qualifying species. No hedge was added to compensate for the bare statement.
Qualification-first (every hook AND every burned-in card): A qualifies by artifact at word ten and its card names the drain clump outright; B qualifies by four-item behaviour with no claim anywhere in the line, and its four one-word cards are the arrest; C qualifies by the cohort's own noun shed, verbatim from the corpus, in both the line and the card. The v1.2 OST audit re-authored the Hook A and Hook C cards specifically so each SELECTS sound-off rather than leasing its qualification to the audio — a card may not borrow qualification from the VO. Hook B, the Reveal's diegetic green-marker hypothesis (BELIEF) and the UMS naming element all stood on audit. The board adds ZERO new burned-in attention cards, and the caption track (if any) is suppressed for the first 5 seconds of every variant so the qualifying card owns the muted-autoplay window.
Runtime: deterministic wordcount.py on the SPOKEN basis (the donor's own measured basis — no basis mismatch). Fulls 199.4–199.8s, pause-adjusted 201.8–202.2s, all inside 153–207s. This is the tightest band margin in the batch — 4.8s on A and B ( flag ②). Per the no-word-shaving rule nothing is trimmed elsewhere to chase margin, no fourth pause may be added, and all three holds stay tight at ≤0.8s. Any future edit has ~13 spoken words of budget before the band top is breached; past that the instruction is to rewrite a beat fresh.
Review: /review-echo, blind-first — blind EQ 8.05 (A) vs self 8.65 (drift 0.60, below the 1.0 flag; no dimension drifts ≥2.0). Verdict MINOR EDITS, 2 HARD / 10 SOFT. Both HARDs applied at v1.1: the donor's problem→solution bridge restored in beat 7 (+9w, the pharmacist's own handwriting supplies the acquisition, resolves the pronoun and pays off the parking lot), and the guarantee welded to the product name in beat 9 (−3w). Declared departure from the review's literal fix text on HARD-2: the review's proposed payoff clause asserted a return mechanic, which the product_facts owner rule bans outright, so the guarantee states the one claimable fact bare instead — which lands the close at 4.20% vs the donor's 4.23% and 79.5 wpm vs the donor's 80, improving donor parity on both axes. v1.2 then re-authored two burned-in OST cards under the qualify-first doctrine with zero spoken words touched. Copy is LOCKED for this package — the storyboard changes zero words and the brief paraphrases zero on-screen cards. SOFTs deliberately untouched: they are the human gate's call, and the board carries them non-destructively (S2's permanence line boarded at full aggression and not cushioned; S6's absent quotation marks answered with a distinct visual world for the pharmacist; S8's close smallness boarded as two objects and a stop; S10's converging hook provenance answered with three genuinely different visual worlds).
